Our Story
Women & Family Life Center is a privately funded nonprofit that has been providing programs, resources and education for women and all families on the CT Shoreline since 1991. We envision communities where women and all families are free from violence and harassment, are economically secure, and have access to equitable opportunities.
Our programs and support services are free and open to all individuals regardless of income to ensure that all women are able to receive the help they need - when they need it. These include individualized referral services through our Guided Assistance Program (GAP), divorce support workshops and groups, legal consultations and financial coaching.
We believe that where you are today does not determine your future. The difference for every woman that we serve is YOU. Her story is YOUR story and together, it is OUR story. For families in Connecticut, the need is real and growing.
