EcoWorks
Our Story
What is EcoWorks ?
We are a volunteer-run Creative Reuse Center (Aka - a thrift store for arts & craft supplies).
We provide a place of donation and sale for our community’s surplus or unwanted materials, making them available to all at low cost. These materials might otherwise be destined for the waste stream.
When you support EcoWorks you are supporting:
- Teachers
- Artists
- Crafters
- Students
- Special Needs programs
- Environmental stewardship
- Seeds of ingenuity & creativity
- Community connection
EcoWorks has a Re-boutique!
Makers who create with second- use materials (85% content) can consign with us.
These items are for sale in our shop and provide a micro-income for our community artisans as well as offer inspiration for our beloved DIYers who walk through our doors.
EcoWorks partners with local makers to support those in need…
This has been our third season making and distributing warm hats, gloves, scarves, and quilts during these cold months of December thru March.
EcoWorks provides a space of inclusion and community engagement...
We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities…
Our environment fosters a sense of creative thinking and a deep development of organizational skills…
Our volunteers support our mission through their work in staffing our store, processing donations, as well as participating in our outside community events.
Student volunteers can fulfill their school’s community service requirements.
Become an EcoWorks community partner with the gift of your:
- Time and inspiration
- Surplus materials
- Monetary donation which will help defray EcoWorks ongoing operating expenses.
Many Thanks from the EcoWorks team!
