🖐️ All Hands on Deck: Lending a Hand to Creative Arts Workshop
Since 1961, Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) has been at the heart of New Haven's Audubon Arts District, serving as a cornerstone for community engagement in the visual arts . As Connecticut's largest community art center , we've been dedicated to nurturing creativity through high-quality instruction across nine disciplines, including book arts, creative writing, drawing and painting, fiber, jewelry, metal sculpture, photography, pottery, and printmaking .
Our vibrant Young People's Department offers year-round classes, introducing children and teens to these mediums, along with digital drawing . Through our generous tuition assistance program, we strive to make the arts accessible to all, ensuring that financial constraints don't hinder creative exploration .
This year, we're rallying the community with our "All Hands on Deck" campaign. It's a call to action, inviting everyone to lend a hand in supporting CAW's mission. Whether it's by "handing over" a donation, "giving a hand" through volunteering, or "raising your hand" to participate in our programs, every gesture contributes to a more vibrant, inclusive arts community.
